Welcome to the 21st annual Fort Langley Half Marathon and 5K presented by Peninsula Runners and Brooks Running Co. We have designed the course to be the most scenic half marathon in the country! The course starts and finishes at the historic Fort in Fort Langley, does a short tour through the town site before heading out into the surrounding countryside and rolling hills. Part of the route traces the historic Hudson’s Bay Co. “Telegraph Trail”. After running on the quiet rural roads, you will return to the finish line at the Old Apple Orchard by the Historic Fort. The 5 km route will be through the quiet streets of historic Fort Langley with some gentle up & downs. You do a 1 K loop to start then two larger 2 K loops.
Awards
After the race stick around for a drink and refreshments, the awards ceremony starts at 9:30. Prizes for age groups winners in the following categories for the half marathon: U19, 20-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+
In the 5 km only the overall top 3 men & women will get a prize.
All participants in both races will receive a unique PR Fort Langley t-shirt to prove you conquered the route as well as a designer medal to hang on your wall!
Half Marathon Course
The race starts and finishes at the Fort Langley National Historic Site located in
We will have 4 water stations out there for the run but three of them you will pass 3 times so in reality 7 stations. They all have water but two of them will have Tailwind Hydration as well. Stations are at 3.0, 5.4, 8.5, 10.3, 14.1, 15.6,18.0 K. The Tailwind will be at 3 and 18, and at 10.3 and 14.1.

5 km Course
Race runs on quiet streets in Fort Langley. It is 2-loops of a relatively flat, scenic run that starts and finishes at the Fort.
Directions to the event
From Hwy 1 take the 232nd St. exit. Proceed north on 232nd towards Fort Langley. Once you reach Glover Rd. turn right (north). Follow Glover to Mavis Avenue (downtown Fort Langley just before the tracks) and turn right. The race starts and finishes in the National Historic Site's Orchard Lawn, at 23433 Mavis Avenue in Fort Langley.
Free parking is available at the Fort Langley Historic site or along the roads in Fort Langley near the start and finish area.
Entry Fees
Refund policy: Peninsula Runners allows for a 50% refund of registration fees paid up to 30 days prior to the race. Alternatively, your registration can be transferred to another runner within this time period. After the 30-day period, unfortunately there are no refunds or transfers possible.
